Hiking the Appalachian Trail:
Saturday, February 08, 2003, 9:AM, Caledonia State Park PA, Casual Loop Hike, Appalachian Trail, US Route 30 south to Rocky Mountain Shelter and return. Leader: LeadersName, PhoneNumber, LeadersEmail. Based on PATC Map #4, this is a moderate 6-mile loop with a 700-foot gradual gain going out and a 200-foot gain starting back before becoming a gradual downhill. Details to be added.

Leader: LeadersName, PhoneNumber, LeadersEmail. Based on PATC Map #4, this is a moderate 5-mile loop with a 1,000-foot elevation gain going out and downhill coming back. Details to be added.

Saturday, February 08, 2003, 9:AM, South Mountain PA 17261, Casual Point-to-Point Hike, Appalachian Trail, Old Forge Picnic Area north to US Route 30. Leader: LeadersName, PhoneNumber, LeadersEmail. Based on PATC Map #4, this is a tough 11-mile point-to-point with an 1,100-foot gain at the beginning and another 300-foot gain midway before downhill. Point-to-Point hike requires sufficient drivers to shuttle drivers/hikers back to starting point. Call the hike leader to register as driver/hiker. Details to be added.

Based on PATC Map #4, this is an extreme 12-mile point-to-point with a combined 2,500-foot elevation gain split up among downhill portions.
