Hiking the Appalachian Trail:
Saturday, February 08, 2003, 9:AM, Caledonia State Park PA, Casual Loop Hike, Appalachian Trail, US Route 30 south to Rocky Mountain Shelter and return. Based on PATC Map #4, this is a moderate 6-mile loop with a 700-foot gradual gain going out and a 200-foot gain starting back before becoming a gradual downhill. Details to be added.

Based on PATC Map #4, this is a tough 11-mile point-to-point with an 1,100-foot gain at the beginning and another 300-foot gain midway before downhill.
